Participating in the preview program gives you a unique opportunity to voice your opinion about upcoming features. As a beta tester, you'll get early access to features before they are released. Your feedback will play an important role to help us improve these features for everyone.


NOTE: Application submission requires an Oracle SSO account; you'll need to create an account tied to your corporate email address if you do not have one.


A separate recruitment form and legal agreement are required per beta program.


 


 To apply to be a beta tester, follow the steps below:

Complete and submit the recruitment form using the links below for each beta feature you want to preview. A separate recruitment form and legal agreement are required per beta program.
The Oracle Beta Programs Office will review your application.
Execute the legal terms provided.
Your company will be notified by email upon acceptance into the beta program.

  • OCI Generative AI Agents: The OCI Generative AI RAG Agent is an advanced AI solution designed to revolutionize the way you interact with artificial intelligence. Leveraging state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs), this agent offers exceptional response quality, relevance, and advanced data handling capabilities. This latest version represents a significant leap forward in our journey to enhance AI-driven solutions, bringing you a suite of features designed to elevate the quality and efficiency of your interactions with AI.  Recruitment closed for this feature 
  • OCI Language: Train custom language models without needing to be a data scientist. Bring your data to train a custom classification model or a model to identify custom entities in text. The new Translation pre-built capabilities allow you to automatically translate text across 16 different languages.
  • OCI Document Understanding: Functionalities:
    1. Portuguese & Spanish OCR - Expands language support for documents written in these languages
    2. Document parsing - Extract text from common business documents: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Extract text from HTML by filtering out HTML tags
    3. Checkbox detection - Detect if a box is checked or unchecked on a form
    4. Barcode extraction - Read the values of barcodes in images
    5. Health Insurance ID key-value extraction - Extract fields from health insurance cards
    6. Signature detection - Detect the presence and location of a signature on a page

Oracle Cloud Native Services Umbrella Beta Program Included Beta Features:
  • Add On Control: Customers can enable or disable cluster add ons like CoreDNS, Flannel and their placement. Add ons are a curated list operational tools/features commonly used with Kubernetes environments that the OKE service team installs, upgrades, and maintains (i.e. the latest security patches and bug fixes are tested and validated for a given add on to ensure they are stable and compatible with OKE). Customers can leverage the Add On Control to have greater control over their Kubernetes cluster add ons.  Coming soon 
  • OKE Persistent Volume Storage Improvements: Customers can sign-up for several upcoming storage features including Block Volume Expansion, Performance Levels, Metrics. OKE is making a number of CSI improvements and customers looking to try the latest storage features can sign-up for this beta.
  • Oracle Cloud Guard Container Governance: Container Governance through Cloud Guard provides customers with a secure and governed container runtime environment, such as Kubernetes. This is achieved through the automated detection and enforcement of security, operational, and organizational policies.  Coming soon 
  • Oracle Functions Larger Memory Functions: Customers can use this feature to execute functions larger than 2GB memory. Larger memory Functions will be enabled on a case-by-case basis for customers looking to execute specific workloads.
  • Simplified Node Upgrades: Simplify cluster control plane and worker node upgrades and updates with one click rolling updates and scheduled maintenance windows.  Coming soon

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Central Hub Umbrella Beta Program Included Beta Features:
  • OCI Fleet Application Management (FAMS): With FAMS, customers can easily apply patches to their resources, ensuring that critical updates are promptly applied and reducing the potential for security vulnerabilities. The service enables customers to define and enforce compliance policies, ensuring regulatory adherence and consistent deployment practices. Customers can also leverage FAMS for running repeatable tasks across their resources, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual efforts. Access to the service is available through REST APIs, SDKs, and the OCI Console and to utilize FAMS effectively, customers need to have resources deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, as well as familiarity with OCI's infrastructure and services. Additionally, customers should have a clear understanding of their resource grouping requirements and compliance policies to maximize the benefits of FAMS.
  • OCI Launchpad: allows customers to onboard, manage and govern prescriptive environments via a rich UI, whilst maintaining configuration and compliance posture across their tenancy. Through use of OCI Launchpad, customers will benefit from deployment consistency, enhanced visibility, and a rapid, consistent onboarding experience inside OCI.
