single-VM clusters for Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure (ExaDB-XS).
This feature is intended for customers who would like to run single-instance workloads on ExaDB-XS and cannot run them in a multi-node VM Cluster due to licensing requirements or customer preference. Prior to the release of this feature, all VM Clusters required a minimum of two VMs, and databases running in those VM Clusters were all multi-node Oracle RAC databases.

. With Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure on Oracle Public Cloud, when you create a customer-managed key or key version, you can import your own key material instead of letting the Vault service generate the key material internally.

. This is the latest Innovation release. It provides security and bug fixes in addition to feature enhancements. You can select version 9.1.2 when creating a new DB system. For existing DB systems, you must manually upgrade them to newer version, such as from version 9.1.1 to 9.1.2.
